Long long long is too long

My parcel from China has finally arrived at my regional USPS office, hopefully it will be delivered by the EOD. And hopefully my XixCheng Carrot shaped charms are safe.

There are many facts that Tencent will take into accounts when they decide the importance of a character. Their biggest  advantage over Taobao is they have user behavior data. But do remember everything they do is about revenue.

That is especially important wlen they initially start selling products for the animation. Their daily quests for the fans of each character have already simplified their feature engineering a lot. They just need to filter the data. If I were them, I would filter the unique user and simply use the total number to prepare their model. But as soon as the sales data come in, those numbers are much more meaningful and more accurate. However, they still need the user behavior data to validate their predicted result and update the hyper parameters. The weight of these behavior features may drop a little bit. The most recent product (bracelet) can be regarded as a result of this process. Tencent will possibly choose the user group that is more loyal and more likely to make the purchases and satisfy their requirements first. If I will guess, they will start selling more expensive products related to a single character. 

And the original fiction was about boys' love. So the other names and number of likes(replies) which indicates the popilarity of a potential couple appeared in a certain character's topic are also key features. This has been reflected in both the animation and the products they sold. Apart from the main characters, the latest few products only picked a few others that appear to have a relationship from the point of view of fans, meaning they are targeting at specific audience rather than people who claim they like everyone. For example, the most recent badges or charms only have patterns of the two main characters who are obviously a couple according to the fiction, and Lan Huan / Jiang Cheng picked by fans, or another product that only have Jin Ling’s family. If I scrape the data from Doki Pages and aggregate the data using these keywords, I'm sure the sum of these combinations are significantly higher than the rest.

But this is a series, so the pilot also makes a difference . The pilot and the characters will impact each other. And the sales data can change accordingly. User behavior basically indicates how stable the fans are and how much they are willing to contribute to the future revenue. As they release more related products and the sales keep going, these numbers are just as important as the user behavior. They prove the correctness of each other. The number predicted by the machine learning model will slowly come to a convergence. The sales data will be even more reliable since they reflects the real revenue that matters to the studio and the commercial group.
